Session description
This session will focus on field service staff development and new training methods for the future in a fast growing global market. In an extreme fast environment in terms of technology development the industry need to think about the skill set for a field technician in terms of education and training. Traditionally there is a strong focus on Health & Safety as well on technical trainings. In terms of digitalization and the focus on productivity there is most likely a need to think about new training methods and content delivery. Beside the technical aspect also the entry into new markets need to be considered. Remote locations, different cultures and languages are to be considered when we think about how we deliver and conduct trainings.
Learning objectives
- Attendees will learn more about the required skills of service personnel in order to increase efficiency and productivity in a fast growing market in combination with complex technology (new skills to develop);
- An understanding that the delivery of traditional HSE and technical training ( classroom / technical lab / e-learning /interactive ) needs to be aligned according to the technician profile (training delivery);
- Why should future soft skills training for field personnel need to be added to standard curriculum?
