When: Thursday, 4 April 2019, 13:00 - 14:15
Where: Auditorium 1
Session description
Digitalisation is not an end in itself, but an enabler of our industry’s objectives. One such application of digital technology is smarter operations and OPEX reduction. In this session, we will look at specific new examples of how digitalisation, including advanced analytics, is being used in operations and maintenance. A range of methods and techniques will be looked at, with a focus on how artificial intelligence and machine learning adds value.
Learning objectives
- Understand the use of artificial intelligence to optimize asset maintenance;
- Learn how to increasing wind turbine failure detectability using Machine Learning;
- Learn how to combine SCADA data analysis, machine learning and physical model to determine loads and fatigue;
- Understand how statistics and neural networks can be used to predict remaining useful lifetimes.
