Marine Biologist

Marine Biologists study marine life and ecosystems to support offshore wind energy projects. They assess how activities such as construction and installation may affect marine species and habitats. Working at sea and onshore, they collect and analyse data, helping ensure that projects are developed in a way that protects marine biodiversity and meets environmental requirements.

What you’ll do

Conduct marine surveys and assess impacts on species and habitats
Collect and analyse marine and ecological data
Support environmental impact assessments and studies
Contribute to mitigation and monitoring strategies
