Context: The European Commission will soon launch a call for project proposals under the Innovation Fund (IF) – the EU funding programme for demonstration of innovative low-carbon technologies. The call for projects will cover small, medium, and large-scale projects (plus the hydrogen bank auction). The total available budget could reach €4bn.
Under the so-called “clean tech manufacturing window”, the IF call can cover projects that target scaling up operations in wind energy manufacturing such as (non-exhaustive list): automation, robotisation, optimisation of production lines, building of new factories, etc. WindEurope will therefore run a series of webinars and in-person workshops to support its members to apply.
The call will open on 23 November with a deadline for submission on 4 April.
Target audience: Wind energy professionals who are looking for funding support to launch a new project, who would like to know more about the Innovation Fund, or who need help in preparing a project proposal.
Aims: Learn about EU funding opportunities, unlock financial support for your wind energy projects, get support in preparing your application.
