Biography

Mr. Jochem Sauer started Spares in Motion 10 years ago together with Marc Huyzer. After studying industrial engineering and business administration Mr. Sauer worked for over 10 years in Aerospace. Spares in Motion is one of the biggest independent supplier of wind turbine parts. One of the main trends we are observing is the increased demand of used and refurbished components. This growth is driven by cost, lead time and CO2 reduction. The refurbishment/reuse of components is becoming an important sourcing option for wind turbine owners to keep their assets running and help them to reduce their CO2 footprint.
