Overview
This booklet brings together 40 case studies from 19 European countries, showcasing how the European wind sector addresses biodiversity considerations in practice. Collected with the support of WindEurope members, the case studies are organised according to the four steps of the mitigation hierarchy: avoid, minimise, restore and compensate, alongside examples of voluntary ecological enhancement measures.
