Overview
In this letter the renewable associations are calling European Energy ministers and the Commission to maintain the current renewable regulatory framework after 2030. A 2040 European renewable target is needed to accelerate and scale up investments in renewable energy capacity, infrastructure and manufacturing plants. Renewable energy provides the optimal solution to safeguarding Europe’s energy independence, competitiveness, affordability and social cohesion.
