Session description
This session will focus on the challenges of ensuring recognized safety training across all countries, as a global company within the wind industry. How to manage and align local legal requirements, company requirements and GWO requirements. Before the panel discussion we will have an introduction from Jacob Frederiksen, Head of Global training in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. The panel discussion will include representatives from both onshore and offshore wind industry.
Learning objectives
- Attendees will learn more about the challenges of entering new markets and what is done to streamline basic safety trainings in already established countries.
- Receive an understanding of the contributions from Global Wind Organization to ensure a common approach to basic safety trainings.
- What is next after basic safety trainings?
- Generic basic safety vs. role-specific basic safety. How do we identify good candidates for topics that should be standardized?
