Session description
This session will look at market developments in Europe, as governments work to adopt their National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs). All EU Member States should have presented their drafts in December 2018 and these plans will define the size and shape of renewable energy markets for the coming decade. The session will take a particular look at Italy, Lithuania, Germany & Poland.
Learning objectives
- Delegates will get insight on market developments in: Germany, Poland, Italy and Lithuania
- Delegates will be updated on European trends and statistics on wind installations and investments
- Delegates will hear about the main regulatory challenges in key markets and the key policy measures to address them in the context of the National Energy and Climate Plans to be finalised by each European Union country this year.
