Biography
Since 2017, chief advisor at Center for Energy Resources at the Danish Energy Agency with responsibility for tasks within offshore wind. This work involves providing the best possible framework conditions for offshore wind power in Denmark, including the regulatory environment for offshore wind, tenders for large scale wind farms, maritime spatial planning, issues around transmission solutions, permits for electricity production at sea, etc. At the international level, part of my work is related to representing Denmark in the North Seas collaborative work. Prior to working with offshore wind, Jeppe was special advisor at the Danish Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate as well as the Danish Energy Agency since 2013, primarily working with energy technology and links to energy policy . Earlier employments include project management at the Danish Advanced Technology Foundation (2010-2013), consultancy work at COWI A/S (2006-2010) and employment as junior professional officer with Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs/DANIDA (2003-2005). Jeppe has a master degree in agricultural economics from Copenhagen University (2002).
