Degree in Maritime Business , IME-Madrid.
Joined Red Eléctrica de España (Power System Operator) in 1991 as responsible for tele-control, power system analysis and operation of the high voltage network, in the Dispatching Centre of Northern Spain.
In 1998 joined Iberdrola as analyst in the Strategic Planning Area.
In 2001 was appointed Gas Logistics Director, responsible for maritime transportation and access to the grids (TPA, new regasification terminals and pipelines as Medgaz).
Later, became Global Gas Trading and Shipping - Vice President responsible for gas trading and shipping on a global basis within the company, and gas business Chairman in USA and Canada.
Board member of Iberdrola Energy USA, Iberdrola Canada Energy Services, Medgaz, Enstor and Iberian Gas Hub.
Executive Vice President Regulation In Iberdrola Group in the period 2015-2018.
In the recent past, Vice Chairman of the Spanish Gas Association (Sedigas) and Chairman of its Supply Committee. Also Chairman of the DSO Committee of EURELECTRIC.
