Prof. Hur has been working in the wind industry for almost 8 years. He is currently an assistant professor within the School of Electronics Engineering at Kyungpook National University, South Korea. He received the B.Eng. degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, UK and the M.Sc. degree (with Distinction) and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from University of Strathclyde, UK. After his studies he spent several years at University of Strathclyde working as a researcher on various European wind energy projects. His research interests include control, condition monitoring and modelling, with particular interest in wind turbines and farms.
