Cable Installation Crew
Cable Installation Crew members work on the installation and removal of power cables that connect wind farms to the electricity grid. Working in active construction environments, they help ensure that cables are correctly placed and secured so that electricity can be safely transmitted from wind farms to the grid.
What you’ll do
Besides supporting on-site activities such as handling, positioning, and installing cables during construction and decommissioning phases, you will:
Install and remove onshore export cables under supervision Handle, position, and secure cables following work instructions Assist with trenching, routing, and backfilling activities Support basic electrical connection or termination tasks Use hand tools and installation equipment Follow safety, environmental, and site procedures Identify and report hazards or issues Work closely with electricians and site team
