Electrical Technician
Electrical Technicians work on the systems that make wind turbines run.They can work in very different environments, such as factories, construction sites or offshore wind farms. Their job is to make sure everything works properly and safely so that electricity can be produced and delivered reliably.
What you’ll do
Besides testing and maintaining electrical systems, reading technical drawings, and finding and fixing faults in electrical equipment you’ll also:
Install, test and maintain electrical systems and components Read and follow electrical diagrams and technical drawings Find and fix faults in electrical equipment Use testing tools to check system performance Support commissioning and system checks Carry out inspections and routine maintenance Follow electrical safety standards and procedures Record work done and report any issues Work closely with engineers and other technicians on site
