Session description
With the adoption of the 3rd Renewable Energy Directive, the Wind Power Package and the signature of the European Wind Charter, the simplification of permitting for renewable energy has made great progress. But a lot of permitting bottlenecks still need to be addressed. This session will look at progress made on implementation of the new rules, showcase positive examples from different countries, and look at areas where further action might be required.
