LevelTen Energy is the leading provider of transaction infrastructure for the renewable energy economy. The platform delivers buyers, sellers, advisors, and financiers the automation software, data management, and standardized contracts needed to facilitate faster, safer renewable energy transactions.

In 2020, LevelTen Energy expanded the LevelTen Marketplace to include 19 European countries, creating the world’s largest marketplace for power purchase agreements (PPAs). Renewable energy buyers and participating advisors now have access to more than 4,000 PPA offers from nearly 400 developers spanning North America and Europe.

LevelTen and its advisor partners, including 3Degrees and Anthesis, will continue to run tenders through the platform on behalf of renewable energy buyers seeking PPAs in Europe. When project developers upload an offer to the LevelTen Marketplace, which they can do for free, they’ll receive those requests for proposals, as well as free custom market reports that will inform strategic pricing and development decisions.

LevelTen announced its initial expansion to Europe in October 2019, and since then has been signing up developers at more than twice the rate that it did in North America. In less than six months following LevelTen’s first European RFP, the LevelTen Marketplace had 100 new developers with European projects.

In 2020, LevelTen also began releasing its quarterly PPA Price Index for Europe, which reports the P25 (most competitive) PPA offer prices submitted by developers for wind and solar projects, and how those prices move over time. The report provides insight into trends that are shaping renewable energy development and pricing, based on a survey of developers and insight from LevelTen and its partners.
