Session description
Decarbonising transport, heating and cooling and heavy industrial processes with electricity coming mainly from renewables will bring significant changes to the energy system. This session will look at how the energy system of the future will look like, and what steps need to be taken – starting today – to enable the transformation of the system while ensuring its flexibility (short term) and adequacy (long term), with concrete examples of existing projects and initiatives.
