Biography

Alain Taccoen is Head of Stakeholders Relations at EDF European Affairs, in charge of coordinating EDF Group participation in think-tanks and some Brussels based associations. In preceding years, he held several positions, in EDF in charge of Retail Markets Regulation and in RTE as Deputy-Head of the Regulation and Finance Department in charge of all activities regarding financial and economic regulation of the French TSO. During that period, he convened the ENTSO-E Working Group in charge of establishing the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform. Alain holds a Degree from Ecole Centrale de Paris, France, a PhD in Physics from the University Paris VI and a Master in Archaeology from University Paris I.
