Session description During this session, Steve Sawyer, Secretary General of the Global Wind Energy Council, will provide an overview of the current status of the wind markets in South America. Three speakers from Argentina, Chile and Uruguay will join him to describe the policy and market environment in their respective countries, as well as outline the challenges and opportunities for companies wishing to do wind business in these markets.
