Dipl.-Ing. M.Sc. Stefan Faulstich has studied electrical engineering with specialization in the field of Electrical Power Engineering - Energy Systems at the University of Kassel, Germany and completed the Master Program "Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency". In 2011 Mr. Faulstich graduated as a specialist engineer for RAMS/LCC. Since 2008 he works in the department Energy Economy and Grid Operation at the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy and Energy Systems Technology (IWES), dealing with the deployment of wind energy use and with the reliability of wind turbines. Since 2015 he is the head of the research group reliability and maintenance strategies.
