Vladislav Akhmatov is born in 1969 in Moscow, Russia. He is MSc, PhD from the Technical University of Denmark. He worked for NESA in Copenhagen, now part of DONG Energy, Siemens Wind Power, and Technical University of Denmark as a Professor with special responsibilities in electrical power systems. Now he is a senior engineer, Emeritus Professor, with Grid Planning Dept. of Energinet.dk, Transmission System Operator of Denmark. In 2006 he received the Danish Engineers’ Association Electro-Award for integration of wind power in Denmark.
