Mr. Ichikawa is belonging to Graduate School of Maritime Sciences in Kobe University in Japan as a master's student. He is majoring in meteorology, having an interest in the field of wind energy. And He is doing researches on offshore wind resource assessment using the mesoscale model WRF, including the development of a new wind estimation method combining buoy observations and numerical simulation.
