James Packer is a senior analyst at Ricardo, with a focus on the dynamic analysis of drivetrains and their system and control interactions. He studied Engineering Science at Oxford University. At Ricardo he has been involved in a wide range of projects in the wind and clean energy sector, including leading the dynamic analysis of the gearbox for the Samsung Heavy Industries 7MW offshore wind turbine project.
