Mr. Xie is a Ph.D. candidate in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University. He focuses his research on innovative hub structure and ultralight blade for rotor system of HAWT during his doctoral study. He is currently a leading researcher on the project “Principle and Implementation of Lightweight and Vibration-Control for Blade Structure of Wind Turbine” supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 51575296). He is also the primary author of several scientific articles and invention patents on innovative rotor design. His research interests include BEM theory, CFD, FEM, mechanical analysis and blade pitch control system.
