EoLIS 2026

EoLIS 2026

Europe's wind energy expansion is ramping up, with our installed capacity growing each year

EoLIS – our End-of-Life Issues & Strategies Seminar – is WindEurope’s annual get-together looking at the challenges and opportunities we face when it comes to our ageing wind turbines. Wind energy innovation is not just about bigger models and greater yield. It’s also about delivering turbines that last longer, require less maintenance, and can be repurposed or recycled at the end of their operational life. This way we can ensure wind energy remains the most sustainable source of energy in Europe.

Are you eager to present your work and meet your peers at the 2026 EoLIS seminar?

We are calling for case studies and projects related to wind turbine end of life strategies and solutions including repowering, lifetime extension, and decommissioning. By presenting your case study or project, we offer you the opportunity to share and present your expertise and insights with the event attendees about real life examples and best practices in the various areas of wind turbine end of life strategies and solutions. The objective of these case studies and project presentations is to offer the audience the opportunity to:

  • Deep Dive: Gain insight into your work and discover its drives and challenges.
  • Knowledge Exchange: Collaborate with international experts and participate in knowledge exchange sessions.
  • Share and Discover Best Practices: Opportunity to share best practices within the global wind energy community.

The presentations should be no longer than 15’ and should not contain any commercial information.

Submission deadline is 30 April 2026.
