We would like to invite you to come and see the posters at our upcoming conference. The posters will showcase a diverse range of research topics, and will give delegates an opportunity to engage with the authors and learn more about their work. Whether you are a seasoned researcher or simply curious about the latest developments in your field, we believe that the posters will offer something of interest to everyone. So please join us at the conference and take advantage of this opportunity to learn and engage with your peers in the academic community. We look forward to seeing you there!
PO215: Wind data analysis for comparing the turbulence intensity between F. LiDAR and cup anemometer
Yunji Hwang, Associate Director, KREDO Offshore
Abstract
It is proposed to compare the TI value determined from wind data obtained from several FLS's on the west coast of south Korea, with the TI calculated from data recorded at an adjacent anemometer metrological mast during the same collection period. Through the comparison and analysis of the data, it is planned to identify the differences and then determine a correlation between the two collection methods, in order to judge the reliability of LiDAR instruments. In addition, we will analyze the annual wind distribution and trends in the west coastal region of Korea based on the existing measured data, and consider the wind distribution that can be predicted for the next 50 years.
