Biography

Yunji Hwang, PhD is Multi-disciplinary engineer with expertise in Renewable Energy Systems and Wind turbine engineering for developing sustainable design. She is currently an assistant director at KREDO offshore. She holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Columbia University, USA, specializing in offshore structures and hurricane hazard prediction (stochastic). She has more than 10 years of experience as a Project Engineer and Risk Analyst in offshore wind turbine development and offshore R&D team at Samsung Heavy Industries. With extensive experience and knowledge, she works as an Engineer manager in offshore wind project. Also, academic background is supported in the field of civil engineering including geo-technic, structure, and wind and sea-wave data analysis.
