PO029: Industry informed digital twin desires

Abstract

Creating a manufacturing digital twin requires input from end users at all levels of the business. To systematically record this information end users were interviewed and their responses recorded and analysed. Responses showed a link between prominent wastes in the factory and how a digital twin could help the factory staff manage these issues. This provides a basis for future work and a showcase in the positives of participatory research.
