Biography

Niels Diepeveen is project director for LionLink, TenneT’s first offshore hybrid interconnector project between the Netherlands and the UK. TenneT is a Dutch-German Transmission System Operator for electricity (TSO) responsible for managing the electricity transmission grid in the Netherlands and significant portions of Germany. Niels joined TenneT in April 2022 and has a MSc in Aerospace Engineering, a PhD in wind turbine drive train design and over 15 years of experience in offshore wind energy technology development.
