Biography

Jakob Lau Holt is CEO of Global Wind Organisation. He has worked in the wind industry for more than 20 years as Board Member of EWEA, which later became Wind Europe, and as Chief Operating Officer at Danish Wind Energy Association before leading Global Wind Organisation since at its foundation in 2014. Global Wind Organisation is the non-profit body created by leading OEMs and wind energy developers. Today, its network of independently owned training providers spans 52 countries and over 550 providers. Collectively, they train over 150,000 wind turbine technicians.
