Biography

Itziar Kortazar received her B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao in 2010. Since then, she has been working in Ingeteam’s Wind Business Unit within the R&D department. First, focused on the development of Power stacks, then involved in the European Project SPEED based on Silicon Carbide semiconductors from 2014 to 2017. Since 2017, as the responsible for Full Converter products for Low and Medium Voltage applications. Since 2024, she is a working group Leader, responsible for coordinating the design and development of Wind Converters & Controls Products and Projects.
