Biography

Jamie joined AXIS in 2018 and is a graduate of Keele University with a degree in Law and Politics. Jamie commenced his insurance career with AIG in New York as part of the Mountbatten Internship, where he worked closely with the Marine and Energy team to help research and develop new product lines, one of which was Renewable Energy. Jamie then spent 6 years working at GCube in London, and 2 years at Ascot Syndicate where he focussed on underwriting onshore wind and solar risks, predominantly in Europe and the emerging markets such as MENA and the Far East. Since joining AXIS in London, Jamie has had a key role in underwriting Offshore Renewables and is now the Head of this group. He also works on onshore business in the emerging markets.
