Biography

Peter C. Brun works currently as Offshore Wind Segment Leader in DNV – the World’s largest consultancy firm in renewable energy. Brun brings more than 30 years of experience with regulated industries. He has worked for both public and private organisations within the wind energy industry and international diplomacy. Brun joined the wind industry in 2006 where he worked as Group Senior Vice President at Vestas Wind Systems A/S. He oversaw Group Government Relations and worked with a broad range of national and international stakeholders worldwide maturing and maintaining regulations to promote investments in wind power. Brun joined the DNV organisation in 2017 where he has been working with business development and internal industry segment strategy and enablement. His rich and varied expertise in the wind industry, includes holding dual Vice Chairman roles at EWEA (now WindEurope) and Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) between 2009 to 2013. He had also been appointed as Chairman of Danish Wind Energy Association (now Green Power Denmark) from 2007 to 2011. Peter Brun has a Master in Science (M.Sc) from Copenhagen University and a MBA from Copenhagen Business School.
