Biography

Sofia is Innovation Manager at ScottishPower/Iberdrola. She has a background in mechanical engineering & AI and has extensive experience in the area of wind farm O&M, data analytics and predictive maintenance. Her PhD thesis focused on wind turbine diagnostics and prognostics, signal processing and machine learning. Her current mission is to solve energy challenges and come up with future solutions through innovation, research and collaboration with academia.
