Head of Sustainability, Renantis

Biography

Giulia is Head of Sustainability at Renantis. She is responsible for leading Renantis' sustainability strategy, bringing together economic, environmental and social sustainability. In her role she also oversees the company's approach to stakeholder engagement and the creation of shared value for the local communities that host Renantis' renewable energy plants. After her research experience in nanotechnology at the University of Cambridge, Giulia joined the industry in 2014 to follow her passion for sustainability and her aspiration to make a tangible impact in the energy sector. Prior to joining Renantis, her work in Innovation at UK Power Networks, one of the largest electricity distribution networks in the UK, focused on making the Net Zero transition a reality for all customers, while protecting those in vulnerable circumstances. Giulia holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Master Degree in Physics from the University of Pisa.
