Session description
There is plenty of capital to finance wind energy projects. This has been the message for the last few years, and it is great that wind energy projects will continue to be financed. But with project bottlenecks, arising mainly from permitting issues in Europe, how can investors ensure they earn a return on their investments in such a competitive market?
In this session, the we will look at ways investors can increase returns, by investing in hybrid solutions, less mature markets or technologies and repowering, for example, and how this might impact financing and ultimately, the development and build-out of wind energy in Europe.
