Innovation & Sustainability Analyst – Innovation Team

WindEurope is the voice of the wind industry, actively promoting wind energy across Europe. We have over 600 members from across the whole value chain of wind energy.
We are looking for an Innovation & Sustainability Analyst to strengthen our Innovation team made up of 5 people. You will report to the Head of Innovation.
You will be responsible for delivering data-driven evidence for WindEurope’s advocacy on research and innovation funding, circular economy and overall sustainability. Your work will help the wind industry to deliver on its commitments and shape WindEurope advocacy on the relevant EU regulation.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Lead date-driven analysis on the circular economy landscape (technology, supply chain) for wind energy.
- Lead development of tools to monitor EU funding flows to the wind energy sector.
- Enable WindEurope’s members to proactively contribute to WindEurope data reporting initiatives.
- Liaison with WindEurope Market Intelligence and Marketing teams on data collection and visualisation.
- Support development of impactful advocacy and communication on EU funding and circularity.
- Support the Innovation team with ongoing EU-funded projects.

Experience
- At least 1-2 years of professional experience ideally in market research in consultancy or trade associations.
- Experience with project management is a plus.
Software
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualisation tools.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Languages
- Excellent level of English (written and spoken).
- Other European languages are a plus.
