Session description
Competitive auctions in onshore and offshore wind have produced astonishing results. But behind the big headlines, the fine print matters more than ever. This session will explore what has and hasn’t worked in auction design, how results are to be interpreted, and what role financiers and investors can play make sure it all adds up.
Learning objectives
- Learn about the key design parameters in auctions in EMEA and elsewhere
- Be able to ask the right questions when the next zero-subsidy bid hits the headlines
- Understand the role financiers and investors can take in keeping onshore and offshore wind bids competitive.
