Biography

Mike Crawley joined Northland Power in 2015 as Executive Vice President, Development, and was appointed CEO in 2018. In his previous role leading development at Northland, Mike oversaw the acquisition and financing of the 270 MW Deutsche Bucht offshore wind project, the award of 1044MW (gross) of Taiwanese offshore wind allocation and the expansion of the company’s development pipeline. Previously, as CEO of AIM PowerGen, he led the company’s growth from initial concept to becoming one of the largest independent renewable power developers in Canada. After the sale of the company to GDF Suez, he served as President of its Canadian division. Mike has served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Power Producers of Ontario and Clean Energy BC. He currently serves on the advisory board of Instar AGF Infrastructure Fund.
