Biography
Jan Hildebrand is the head of the Environmental Psychology field at IZES gGmbH since 2016. From 2012 to 2016 he has been the team leader of the Environmental Psychology Research Group at the University of Saarland. From 2005 to 2012, he was a research associate in the Environmental Psychology Research Group at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. His research focus is on the acceptance of renewable energies, conflicts in the energy sector as well as participation processes and their psychological dimensions. Since 2009, he has been representing the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and, since 2014, the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in Task 28 of the International Energy Agency (IEA) "Social Acceptance of Wind Energy ProjectsPresenter
