Biography

Yoshinori Ueda is the General Manager of the Japan Wind Power Association (JWPA, for industry people) and the board member of the Japan Wind Energy Association (JWEA, for academic people). He handles communication issues for both associations as well as the GWEC Japan committee. He is the core member of the wind power councils at the Japan Electrical Manufacturer’s association (JEMA, organizer of IEC/TC88 Japan committee), the New Energy Foundation (NEF, policy proposer in Japan) and the Society of Industrial Machinery Manufacturers (JSIM). Mr Ueda has been engaged in the power plants production business including large wind turbines in Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. for 25 years.
