Biography

Kirsten Dyer has over 15 years experience in the research, development, qualification and testing of polymer composite materials and coatings for aerospace and wind turbine OEMs. Her current role at ORE Catapult is to develop cutting edge products, services and solutions for blade materials by working with academia and industry. Blade Leading Edge erosion is her main current topic where she is supervising research into coating degradation during erosion, new and improved accelerated test methods, and comparative tests between wind turbine erosion coating performance and current accelerated test methods.
