Biography

Andrea Panizzo is Head of Business Development of Europe and Middle East Area in Enel Green Power, the Global Renewable Energies Division of Enel S.p.A. He is a Civil Hydraulic Engineer, with a PhD in Maritime Constructions. He joined Enel in 2008, and worked mainly in the Business Development unit, with responsibilities in hydropower technologies development. The carried out activities regard mainly development and permitting of greenfield projects, participation to governmental tenders, M&A of projects and operating plants. In October 2015 he was appointed Head of Business Development of Europe and Middle East Area, leading a team of about 50 people, active in Italy, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Greece, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and UAE. About recent activities and results obtained in Europe and Middle East Area, in 2017 Enel Green Power was awarded of 540 MW of wind and 339 MM of solar pv projects in Spain, and of 291 MW of wind projects in Russia.
