Biography

Diederik Peereboom is the Secretary General of T&D Europe, representing the technology providers for the electricity grid. Before taking up this new role in February 2018, Diederik worked as a diplomat for the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a political advisor to a Member of the European Parliament, as the EU Affairs Manager for the oil and gas industry and as the Energy Practice leader at the global public affairs agency Burson-Marsteller. Throughout his career he has worked on EU energy and climate policy. Diederik holds a MA in International Relations from Groningen University in the Netherlands and a MA in Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges.
