Biography

Currently (since May 2017) Managing Director Centralized Generation business line, corporate organization coordinating business development and industrializing operation of power generation assets (thermal, hydro, wind, solar and storage, 100GW in operation and more in construction and development). Member of Engie Operational Management Committee (since May 2016). Managing Director of Engie New Ventures, corporate VC fund (since May 2014) Prior to this EVP, Innovation and New Business Director in Engie (responsible for corporate venture capital fund of 160M€, incubation of internal startups, collaboration platforms, innovation partnership and events). Nominated to this new that time function in January 2014 designed the organization, recruited the team of 25 professionals and managed it successfully. Prior to this President and CEO of GDF SUEZ (Engie’s previous name) Energy Central and Eastern Europe, responsible for operations in 6 countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and Romania) with turnover above 5 billion €. Member of Executive Committee of GDF SUEZ Energy Europe. Prior to this different functions in Electrabel Polska (business development manager, marketing & sales manager and finally CEO and country manager). Prior to this CEO of CITEC SA, engineering and consulting company, subsidiary of Tractebel Engineering. Prior to this entrepreneur, founder and CEO of CITEC Ltd., which he further sold to Tractebel Engineering and thus joined the Suez/GDF SUEZ/Engie Group. Prior to this short academic career at Politechnika Slaska (Silesian Technical University) in Gliwice, Poland.
