Biography
Toni Volpe graduated magna cum laude in management, economics and industrial engineering, at Polytechnic of Milan in 1997. In 2002 he obtained his MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.
Between 1997 and 1998 he worked at Decathlon Logistics in France and from 1998 to 2004 he was a consultant at Bain & Company in Milan.
In 2004 he joined Enel Group and worked in Corporate Strategy, reporting directly to the Group CEO on key corporate development programs. From 2005 to 2011 he was President and CEO of Enel Green Power North America. Between 2011 and 2014 he was head of HR Planning, Compensation, Development, Training, and Recruiting at Group level. From 2014 he was country manager and CEO of Enel Romania.
In February 2016 he became the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Falck Renewables SpA, listed on the Italian stock exchange in the STAR segment (“FKR.MI”) and included in the FTSE
Italia Mid Cap Index. The Company develops, designs, builds and manages power production plants from renewable sources, with an
installed capacity of 970 MW in 2018 (933.5 MW according to the IFRS 11 reclassification) in the United Kingdom, Italy,
United States, Spain and France, using wind power, solar power, WtE and biomass technologies. The Group is a global
player in the renewable energy technical advisory and asset management services business, through its wholly owned
subsidiary Vector Cuatro, providing asset management services to clients accounting over 1600 MW of installed capacity
and with experience in more than 25 countries.
