Biography

Dr. Chen has been doing research in wind field for 8 years. She is currently a senior scientist at ABB Corporate Research Center. She studied automation science at Beijing University of Aeronautic and Astronautics in China, where she got her PhD degree with research on wind power forecasting. After her studies she joined ABB and has been involved in projects on wind turbine/converter condition monitoring and prognosis. Her research is focused on application of machine learning methods in the industrial field, i.e. condition monitoring, process optimization, etc.
