Biography

Mohamed Harrou has been working in the renewable industry since 2012. Currently, he is working as a IT Security and SCADA Engineer at BayWa r.e. Operation Services GmbH. Mohamed studied automation engineering at BBS 1 School in Mainz, after that he added the Master Professional of Technical Management at the Somerhoff Management Institute. Since his entry into the renewables industry, he has focused on IT security, particularly regarding the equipment in PV and wind plants. In is role, he monitors systems for potential security threats or issues. Mohamed Harrou has also led on the development of an advanced new system designed to protect decentral power plants from threats via internet
