Biography

Ms. Ivana Lukic is Blue Growth and planning consultant at SUBMARINER Network for Blue Growth EEIG, which is a cooperation platform that brings policy, research and business actors together to actively promote innovative and sustainable uses of marine resources. Ms. Lukic has extensive experience in designing and managing projects and studies in the field of sustainable ocean multi-use, maritime spatial planning and environmental impact assessment. Her trans-disciplinary professional background includes work on the regional and offshore renewable energy aspect of the Rhode Island Ocean Special Area Management Plan and permitting of offshore developments. Building upon her earlier work in New York and Rhode Island, Ivana also has extensive international experience with industry engagement, as the leader of the World Ocean Council (WOC) Marine Spatial Planning Working Group.
