Aviation Manager, ScottishPower Renewables
Biography
Anne Mackenzie is ScottishPower Renewables’ Aviation Manager, working to resolve aviation issues for SPR’s development and operational sites, both onshore and offshore. Anne is also chair of RenewableUK’s Aviation Working Group and an industry member of BEIS’s Aviation Management Board. Anne has been closely involved in the renewable energy – aviation/radar interface, at an industry leading level, for nearly fourteen years – having represented both an airport operator (Infratil Airports Europe then operating Prestwick and Manston Airports) and a renewables developer (SPR). Anne is currently leading SPR’s team working with Aveillant, Thales and Cyrrus on Project Green Blade – an industry initiative to resolve UK MoD air defence radar issues, which is also anticipated to have application to the air traffic control sector (civil and military).
